Late Summer Favorites
There’s something special about late summer cooking.
The peaches are sweet, the herbs are still thriving, and the meals somehow feel both relaxed and a little more intentional. Before we trade patio dinners for cozy comfort food, I always try to make a few favorite recipes one more time.
Here are a few dishes I'm loving right now that make the most of the season.

Pork Chops and Peaches
This is one of my favorite ways to use fresh summer peaches. The sweet peaches pair perfectly with savory pork chops for a dinner that feels simple, seasonal, and a little special.

Italian Marinated Skirt Steak
Packed with flavor and perfect for grilling, this is the kind of recipe that makes an ordinary weeknight feel like a summer gathering.

Salmon Chimichurri
Fresh herbs are everywhere this time of year, and this vibrant chimichurri is the perfect way to put them to good use. It's bright, flavorful, and pairs beautifully with salmon.

Caprese Orzo Salad
Everything I love about a caprese salad in a hearty pasta dish. Fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella make this one a staple during tomato season.

Kale and Cannellini Bean Salad
Light, fresh, and easy to make ahead. This is the kind of side dish that works with just about everything and gets even better after it sits for a bit.

Late summer always feels a little bittersweet. The season is winding down, but the ingredients are some of the best all year.
If you have peaches, tomatoes, or fresh herbs on your counter right now, consider this your sign to put them to good use.
Happy Cooking!
